Police Regional Office 5 (Bicol) arrested 121 wanted individuals during intensified anti-criminality operations conducted from February 2 to 8, authorities said Wednesday.
Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said the arrests included 18 municipal-level suspects, seven at the regional level, seven at the provincial level, and four at the city level.
Another 85 fugitives were apprehended through separate coordinated law enforcement efforts during the same period.
Tracker teams also located and arrested a suspect outside PRO-5’s jurisdiction, highlighting the reach of inter-regional operations.
Calubaquib credited the success to disciplined field operations, intelligence gathering, and effective coordination among units.
The operations focused on individuals evading justice across various criminal cases, underscoring PRO-5’s commitment to public safety.
Authorities said they will continue pursuing wanted persons using intelligence-driven policing and collaborative efforts with other law enforcement offices.
