Social media personality Bea Borres took to social media to share her reality as a young single mother and highlight the importance of self-love and making better life choices, especially for young women.
Bea posted photos on Facebook on Saturday, November 22, showing herself lying in bed while receiving oxygen via a nasal cannula.
“I share my hardships not because I regret anything but because this is my reality. I want other girls, and one day my daughter, to understand how important it is to love yourself and choose better.” she wrote in the caption.
The vlogger bravely opened up about the emotional toll of her journey, affirming that feeling overwhelmed is a normal part of the process and does not define her as a parent.
“I’m doing everything I can for my baby,” she stated. “I’m allowed to feel sad and overwhelmed but that doesn’t make me a bad mother.”
Bea also took a moment to address the delicate topic of young pregnancy, making sure to clarify her stance saying “I never normalized being pregnant at a young age. In fact, I discourage it because it’s hard.”
She wrapped up her post by writing “I hope my followers learn from my journey and make wiser choices than I did, cuz the reality is babae talaga ang talo dito.”
Recently, it was reported that her supposed baby shower was cancelled because she had to stay at the hospital for ‘close monitoring’, considering that she’s now at the end of her trimester.
Bea confirmed her pregnancy in August and revealed that she is having a baby girl.
While she chose not to name the father, she clarified that she would not be co-parenting and instead planned to raise her daughter independently, supported by her close friends and family.
