The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is set to convene some of the world’s most influential thinkers and changemakers for the Asian Forum on Enterprise for Society (AFES) 2025, happening on November 11–12 at the Makati Shangri-La.
At a time when businesses are challenged by climate crises, geopolitical tension, and rapid technological disruption, AFES 2025 will explore how enterprises can lead with purpose, responsibility, and resilience under the theme “Navigating Disruption: Enterprise Priorities for a Resilient Future.”
Two icons of global leadership will headline the event: Ban Ki-moon, former United Nations Secretary-General and architect of the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals, and Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Chairman of Ayala Corporation and one of Asia’s foremost champions of sustainability in business. Their joint participation underscores the need for diplomacy, innovation, and enterprise to converge in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future.
Forging Pathways for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth
AFES 2025 will feature thought-provoking sessions on harnessing technology responsibly, designing climate solutions rooted in nature, advancing inclusive finance, and empowering micro-entrepreneurs. Other sessions will spotlight education, gender equity, and diversity as core components of long-term resilience and economic transformation.
AIM’s Evolving Mission for a Changing World
For AIM, hosting AFES reaffirms its belief that management education must evolve with society’s most urgent challenges. Beyond developing leaders, AIM aims to equip changemakers capable of building systems that are both competitive and compassionate—driving growth while upholding social responsibility.
A Tradition of Purpose-Driven Dialogue
Since its inception in 2002, AFES has become one of Asia’s leading platforms for cross-sector collaboration. Organized by AIM’s Ramon V. Del Rosario, Sr. Center for Corporate Responsibility, the forum continues to champion the intersection of business innovation, governance, and sustainability—encouraging enterprises to act as catalysts for shared progress.
