Ayala Group sets benchmark in workplace wellness with historic global certifications

The Ayala Group has broken new ground in workplace wellness, securing two of the most prestigious recognitions from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and signaling a bold new standard for healthy, people-centered offices in the Philippines.

Ayala Corporation earned the coveted WELL v2 Platinum Certification for its headquarters at Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower Two in Makati City — the highest distinction under IWBI’s global benchmark for workplace well-being. It is the first corporate headquarters in the Philippines, and among the rare few in Southeast Asia, to achieve this elite rating.

Ayala Land also made its own mark as ATG Tower Two received a WELL Gold Certification, its first for an office development. The tower, home to leading Philippine corporations, multinational firms, and foreign missions, was recognized for integrating wellness into every layer of its design and operations.

During a ceremony held on November 12 at Ayala Corporation’s headquarters, IWBI Senior Vice President and Asia Pacific Head Jack Noonan formally awarded the certifications in the presence of top Ayala leaders, including Chairman Jaime Zobel de Ayala, President and CEO Cezar P. Consing, Corporate Resources Group Head and Chief Human Resources Officer Francisco Romero Milán, People Experience Head Sherry M. Gosiengfiao, Ayala Land Offices Vice President and Head Carol T. Mills, and Business Development Head Gail Y. Samaniego.

Consing emphasized that the achievement reflects the group’s deep commitment to building work environments designed for people to thrive. He said superior workplaces shape productivity, creativity, collaboration, and purpose.

Mills added that the milestone reinforces Ayala Land’s mission to develop spaces that go beyond function and aesthetics, uplifting communities by embedding wellness into modern urban living. The recognition for Tower Two, she noted, underscores Ayala Land’s dedication to creating environments where people’s health and well-being come first.
