Taytay Municipal Mayor Norbert Salvame Lim and mWell Head of Government and Communities Tisha Quinitio officially seal the partnership to expand digital healthcare access in Palawan’s 1st District and the mWell Kiosk equipped with a tablet and printer, brings virtual doctor consultations and digital health services closer to Palawan communities.

mWell, the Philippines’ fully integrated health and wellness mega app, has taken a landmark step in bridging healthcare gaps as it officially rolls out its digital health services across Palawan’s 1st District. In strong partnership with Taytay Mayor Norbert Salvame Lim and Congresswoman Rosalie “Mommy Rose” Salvame, the initiative is transforming how island communities access care—bringing medical support closer, faster, and more efficiently than ever before.

Over a three-day launch, mWell introduced a suite of innovative tools designed to make world-class healthcare accessible even in the most remote barangays. Health kiosks were set up to enable virtual consultations with licensed doctors, while a newly deployed LGU App now helps Barangay Health Workers streamline data collection and patient monitoring.

At the heart of the rollout is the mWell Health ID, a secure, digital health passport where users can store and access vital medical information including lab results, prescriptions, vaccination history, and emergency contacts—ensuring that care is always within reach, even offline.

“This project reflects what we stand for—ensuring that every Filipino, even in the farthest island, can reach a doctor when they need one,” said Chaye Cabal-Revilla, President and CEO of mWell and Chief Finance, Risk, and Sustainability Officer of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation. “Through mWell, we are proving that world-class healthcare can reach them wherever they are. This is how we build a nation where care truly knows no boundaries.”

Local leaders echoed the transformative impact of the program. “With mWell now in our district, families who once had to travel far just to see a doctor can now consult online. Our health workers can deliver services more efficiently, and our communities can finally experience the kind of healthcare they deserve,” said Mayor Norbert Salvame Lim. “This is innovation rooted in compassion—hope and healing brought directly to our people.”

For mWell’s Government and Communities Head Tisha Quinitio, the program brings the company’s mission to life. “Our goal is to make healthcare part of daily life, not something people have to travel or wait for,” she said. “Here in Palawan, we’re showing what that future looks like—local health workers empowered by data, families connected to doctors at a touch, and communities supported by a system that never stops caring.”

The rollout in Taytay and Palawan’s 1st District stands as a powerful example of how public-private partnerships can bridge long-standing healthcare gaps. By combining cutting-edge technology with a deep commitment to community well-being, mWell is empowering frontliners, strengthening families, and redefining what accessible healthcare means for every Taytayano.

As mWell continues its nationwide expansion, its mission remains clear: to be the trusted ally of every Filipino in living well, staying well, and being well anytime, anywhere. Its partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) aims to integrate digital healthcare into the government’s eGov PH App—paving the way for the country’s first national digital health system and giving millions direct access to doctors, health records, and essential services at their fingertips.
