Ayala Corporation clinched the prestigious 5 Golden Arrow Award, marking the highest distinction for excellence in corporate governance among publicly listed companies in the Philippines.

This milestone marks Ayala’s first-ever five-arrow win, following its four-arrow recognition in 2024 and three-arrow honor in 2023—showing the company’s consistent rise in governance excellence. The 5 Golden Arrow Award is given only to firms that achieve scores in the top tier of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), which evaluates sustainability, resilience, stakeholder engagement, transparency, accountability, and board effectiveness.

“At Ayala, we believe that strong corporate governance is not just good practice—it is the foundation of a sustainable business,” said Ayala Corporation President and CEO Cezar P. Consing. “We are honored by this recognition, which reaffirms our commitment to uphold the trust of our stakeholders and to always serve with integrity.”

The Ayala Group’s commitment to responsible governance was further underscored as eight other Ayala companies also earned top distinctions in the 2025 Golden Arrow Awards. Globe Telecom received its fourth straight 5 Golden Arrow Award, while ACEN, Ayala Land, the Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. each secured 4 Golden Arrows. AREIT and AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation were recognized with 3 Golden Arrows, and ENEX received 1 Golden Arrow.

In the insurance category, BPI AIA and BPI MS were also honored, taking home the 3- and 1-Arrow awards, respectively.

Organized annually by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), the Golden Arrow Awards honor companies that uphold the highest standards of governance under both Philippine and global benchmarks. Companies are rated across five tiers, with the fifth arrow signifying the pinnacle of corporate integrity and accountability.

Earlier this year, Ayala was also named among the Top 5 Philippine corporations and one of the Top 50 ASEAN companies in the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Conference and Awards—further cementing its legacy as a model for transparency, ethics, and leadership in the region.
