Australia will aim for its third straight FIBA Asia Cup title when it battles former champion China in the finals on Monday, August 18, at 12:00 a.m. (Philippine time) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Boomers, who have dominated the tournament since joining in 2017, cruised past Gilas Pilipinas in the quarterfinals, 84-60, and crushed Iran in the semis, 92-48.
China, meanwhile, last lifted the trophy in 2015 against the Philippines. The team secured its spot in the finals after defeating New Zealand, 98-84.
In the battle for third place, Iran and New Zealand will clash on August 17 at 7:00 p.m.
