Alagang Globe is once again at the frontlines of relief and recovery as communities across Luzon continue to feel the impact of Typhoon Uwan. Guided by its commitment to keep Filipinos connected and cared for in times of crisis, Globe has been working closely with local governments and humanitarian partners to help families rebuild, reconnect, and move forward safely.
Across North Luzon, Globe’s network teams have made rapid progress in restoring connectivity, achieving full service in Cagayan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Benguet, Zambales, Apayao, Nueva Ecija, Ilocos Norte, and Bulacan. Overall network availability in the region has reached 88.48 percent as teams continue round-the-clock work in Abra, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizciza, Ifugao, La Union, Pangasinan, and Bataan. South Luzon has seen equally strong recovery, with full restoration in Batangas, Masbate, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, Laguna, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque. Network availability is now at 90.41 percent, with continuous technical efforts underway in Aurora, Quezon, Albay, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Southern Leyte, and Western Samar.
As connectivity returns, relief efforts are also moving swiftly. Through Ayala Foundation Inc. and Brigadang Ayala, Globe is sending food packs and essential supplies to affected families in Rosario, Northern Samar, and Sangay, Camarines Sur, with deliveries set for November 14. Globe has also expanded its humanitarian reach by partnering with Rise Against Hunger Philippines, enabling life-saving assistance across Luzon.
Customers are encouraged to support these efforts by donating Globe Rewards points through the Globe One app, a small act that can make a meaningful impact. Recent distributions have delivered 600 food packs to 200 families in Ilocos Norte and Cagayan, with more assistance already on the way.
To further ease the burden on affected customers, Globe has rolled out free call, text, and data services for Globe Prepaid and TM users in hard-hit areas. Payment deadlines for Globe Postpaid and GFiber accounts have been extended, while Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users are receiving additional data allocations to stay connected during recovery. Donations through Globe Rewards and GCash continue to help frontline partners reach households still dealing with the storm’s aftermath.
Through every restored signal, every delivered food pack, and every extension of care, Globe remains steadfast in its mission to stand with Filipino communities. As families rebuild from Typhoon Uwan, Globe ensures that compassion and connection remain constant. Updates on ongoing support efforts are available on GlobeICON and Globe’s official social media channels.
