AIA Philippines has relocated its Binondo office to Yuchengco Tower, reinforcing the insurer’s long-standing presence in the City of Manila and sharpening customer access in one of the country’s most active commercial districts.
The move keeps AIA Philippines firmly rooted in Binondo, widely regarded as the world’s oldest Chinatown and a bustling hub for trade, entrepreneurship, and family-owned enterprises.
With Manila serving as a gateway to millions of consumers amid a growing middle class, the new location positions the company closer to customers who value both convenience and trusted, face-to-face service.
Fully operational, the Binondo office houses the customer service center and the agency office, welcoming clients for a full range of transactions including after-sales services, payments, claims, policyowner requests, and document submissions.
The branch complements AIA Philippines’ extensive Metro Manila network of more than 2,000 agents, combining in-person support with locally based advisers to ensure coverage across communities.
“This relocation reflects our continued focus on strengthening our on-ground presence in Manila, where strong community ties and trust remain central to financial decision-making,” said Melita Teo, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Philippines. “Having a physical branch in a key business district like Binondo allows us to be more accessible to clients while supporting our goal of delivering consistent, high-quality service.”
While digital platforms continue to expand reach and efficiency, AIA Philippines underscored the enduring value of physical branches, particularly in communities where personal interaction helps build confidence and long-term relationships.
The office recently held a blessing as part of its soft opening, with a formal launch planned for February 2026, timed to coincide with the Chinese New Year celebrations.
