100 runners join Anti-Corruption Rally at Luneta

Around 100 runners from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City joined the anti-corruption rally at Luneta, Manila, early Sunday morning.

According to GMA Integrated News’ Bea Pinlac, the group, mostly dressed in black running gear, completed the 16-kilometer route despite the weather to participate in the protest action “Baha sa Luneta” at Rizal Park.

Many of the participants said the run was their way of taking a stand and showing support for calls for justice amid the corruption allegations involving government officials and private contractors.
