BEIJING, China — Xiaomi has taken a decisive step from the road to the virtual racetrack as its flagship performance sedan, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, makes its landmark debut in Gran Turismo 7, one of the world’s most respected racing simulation franchises.
Beginning January 29, 2026, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players worldwide will be able to take the SU7 Ultra for a spin following the release of Gran Turismo 7’s Update 1.67 at 2:00 p.m.
The entry marks Xiaomi’s first-ever appearance in the long-running Gran Turismo series, a platform known for its uncompromising standards in realism, vehicle authenticity, and driving physics.
The inclusion of the SU7 Ultra follows an official collaboration between Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital, a Sony Interactive Entertainment subsidiary, announced in June 2025. Its arrival places Xiaomi alongside an elite roster of global automotive brands whose vehicles have earned a place in Gran Turismo’s meticulously curated garage.
Gran Turismo creator and producer Kazunori Yamauchi personally test-drove the SU7 Ultra across multiple iconic circuits, including the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Tsukuba Circuit, and roads in Beijing, underscoring the depth of the validation process behind the car’s digital recreation.
Xiaomi EV’s vehicle dynamics performance team also traveled to Polyphony Digital’s studio in Fukuoka to fine-tune and validate the in-game driving experience, ensuring the virtual model faithfully mirrors the real-world machine.
Under the hood, the SU7 Ultra boasts Xiaomi’s in-house developed Hyper Tri-Motor system, combining Dual V8s and V6s electric motors to produce a staggering 1,548 horsepower. The result is blistering acceleration, with a 0–100 km/h time of just 1.98 seconds.

To mark the car’s Gran Turismo debut, Polyphony Digital will roll out a special two-week official lap-time challenge on the legendary Monza circuit, giving players a chance to test their skills behind the wheel of Xiaomi’s fastest and most ambitious vehicle to date.
