“Sobrang laki ng panalo na ito for us kasi working kami as a team. Marami kaming bago and maraming nawalang seniors sa amin. So, kailangan din naming i-work talaga ang sarili namin and ‘yung kabuuan ng team (This win is a huge deal for us because we’re working as a team. We have many new faces, and we’ve lost several seniors. So, we really need to put in the work—both on ourselves and on the team as a whole),” Nitura said.
Janelle Bachar finished with 12 points for the Lady Red Spikers, who took their straight loss.
Daisy Cagas contributed nine points while Katrina Dela Cruz and Khim Culanay scored six points apiece.
