CITY OF MALOLOS — A young softball team from Bulacan is ready to take its biggest swing yet as the Bulacan Dreamers carry the Philippine flag—and the hopes of the entire Asia-Pacific Region—into the 2026 Senior League Softball World Series in Delaware, United States.

The prestigious tournament runs from August 3 to 9, bringing together some of the best youth softball teams from around the world.

The Dreamers earned their ticket to the global stage after ruling the 2026 Little League Asia-Pacific and Middle East Tournament held in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia, in June.

Now facing tougher international competition, the Bulacan squad will begin its campaign against the East Region on August 5 at 8 a.m., Philippine time.

They will then battle the Latin America Region on August 6 at 5 a.m., followed by the Southwest Region at 8 a.m. on the same day. The Dreamers will close their preliminary schedule against the Delaware District 3 Region on August 7 at 2 a.m.

Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando expressed confidence that the young athletes will proudly represent the province and the country on the world stage.

“Nakagagalak pong isipin na kasabay ng pamamayagpag ng ating mga ipinagmamalaking atleta tulad nina Alex Eala, EJ Obiena, Carlos Yulo, Manny Pacquiao, at marami pang iba, ay sumasabay dito ang mga batang atleta na nagmula sa dakilang Lalawigan ng Bulacan,” Fernando said.

“It brings great joy that alongside the triumphs of our celebrated athletes, the young athletes from the great province of Bulacan are also rising. I send them off with my full belief that they will proudly wave the Philippine flag before the world,” he added.

Fernando also called on Filipinos to rally behind the Dreamers and offer prayers for the team’s safety, strength and success throughout the tournament.

From their hometown fields in Bulacan to the international spotlight in Delaware, the Dreamers now have the opportunity to turn their name into reality—and bring home a world championship for the Philippines.
