Villas, views, and vittles at Raffles Sentosa

Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the country’s first all-villa resort, is now accepting bookings for stays, weddings, events, and dining experiences ahead of its opening on March 1, 2025, marking a new chapter for the iconic Raffles brand, which was founded in Singapore in 1887 with the debut of Raffles Singapore.

Set within 100,000 square meters of lush tropical greenery on Sentosa Island, the resort is a 15-minute drive from Singapore’s Central Business District. As the first GSTC-certified island destination in Asia, Raffles Sentosa promises guests a tranquil, secluded experience atop a hill, surrounded by gardens.

“Raffles Sentosa Singapore will be an enchanting sanctuary, where nature, heritage, and wellness come together with the legendary traditions and world-class hospitality of the Raffles brand to create truly unforgettable experiences,” said Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, cluster general manager of Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.

“The resort will also offer the perfect setting for private retreats, family gatherings, and celebrating significant milestones,” Viterale added.

Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the resort will feature 62 villas ranging from 210 square meters for a one-bedroom pool villa to 650 square meters for the expansive four-bedroom Royal Villa. All villas include private pools, outdoor terraces, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The signature Raffles Butler service will ensure guests’ needs are met with personalized care.

The resort will also focus on wellbeing with its spa, housed in a converted heritage building featuring 13 treatment rooms offering holistic experiences.

For events, two state-of-the-art ballrooms will accommodate up to 400 guests, making the resort an ideal venue for weddings and large gatherings.

Raffles Sentosa will be a new dining destination in Singapore, with five restaurants and lounges serving a variety of global cuisines.

The resort’s signature restaurant, Empire Grill, will offer modern Italian dishes, while Royal China will serve refined Cantonese cuisine. Hashida will offer an omakase-style Japanese dining experience. Guests can also indulge in the traditional Raffles Afternoon Tea in the elegant Raffles Room.

For a more intimate setting, Chairman’s Room will offer a curated selection of whiskies, cognacs, and fine wines in a plush, speakeasy-inspired atmosphere. Alternatively, diners can enjoy al fresco meals by their private villa pool, in the resort’s gardens, or on a secluded stretch of Tanjong Beach, accessible directly from the resort.
