Vena Global Group Pte Ltd has announced the formation of Vena Nexus Group Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on developing AI-ready data center infrastructure. This strategic move consolidates all AI-data center (AI-DC) activities, personnel, and projects previously managed under Vena Energy—Vena Group’s renewable energy division—into the new entity.

The launch of Vena Nexus reflects Vena Group’s commitment to building hyperscale data center campuses integrated with large-scale renewable energy projects, as well as distributed edge facilities located at renewable energy sites.

“With traditional workloads expanding and AI driving unprecedented demand for power-secure infrastructure across Asia Pacific, Vena Nexus is a natural extension of our platform,” said Nitin Apte, CEO of Vena Group. “It enables focused execution, capital efficiency, and strategic partnerships, all while maintaining strong integration with Vena Energy, which powers our digital infrastructure.”

Vena Nexus takes over a development pipeline of roughly 3 GW in data center projects, including over 1 GW of AI-DC projects with secured power, land, and permits. The subsidiary is supported by a dedicated team of 60 professionals with expertise in data center development, digital infrastructure, commercial strategy, and investment.

It also benefits from Vena Group’s broader platform of nearly 1,000 specialists across development, operations, legal, finance, ESG, and procurement.

Positioned to deliver scalable solutions in power-constrained and high-barrier markets, Vena Nexus works in close collaboration with Vena Energy. Its presence currently spans Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with expansion underway in Thailand, South Korea, Australia, and other key Asia Pacific markets.

Vena Nexus develops both hyperscale AI-DC campuses and distributed edge facilities, purpose-built for traditional workloads, AI training and inference, real-time data processing, and low-latency computer—delivering performance where it’s needed most.

“Vena Nexus is designed from the ground up to deliver next-generation, sustainable digital infrastructure,” said Simone Grasso, Chief Investment Officer of Vena Group and Global Head of Vena Nexus. “By co-designing data centers with grid-ready renewable power, we enable clients to scale AI workloads in markets where capacity and sustainability are in short supply. Our integrated platform allows us to move with speed and clarity across development, engineering, and commercial execution, anchored in long-term infrastructure value.”

As demand for green, energy-efficient data centers accelerates across the region, Vena Nexus is poised to play a central role in shaping the future of digital infrastructure in Asia Pacific.
