Vantage Energy, the retail electricity supply arm of Manila Electric Company (Meralco) led by Manuel V. Pangilinan, has renewed its partnership with Bounty Plus Inc., ensuring continued, reliable power for the poultry firm’s facilities across Luzon.

The new retail electricity supply agreement includes customized energy solutions tailored to meet the specific power needs of Bounty Plus’ poultry and broiler farm operations. This initiative is expected to enhance the company’s efficiency, performance, and market competitiveness through competitive electricity rates.

As part of the partnership, Bounty Plus will continue receiving a portion of its electricity from renewable sources—further reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and responsible operations.

Bounty Plus is a key unit of Bounty Fresh Group Holdings, which manages household brands such as Bounty Fresh and Chooks-to-Go. The renewed agreement will cover seven of its facilities located in Bataan, Tarlac, and Pangasinan.

Bounty Plus holds the distinction of being the first company in the Philippines to receive the “Reared Without Antibiotics” certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc., a global certification body. This recognition underscores the company’s dedication to producing safe, healthy food through sustainable farming practices.

“With our growing demand for renewable energy, Vantage Energy has remained proactive in ensuring consistent supply. This shared commitment is a strong foundation for a lasting partnership,” said Carl Benedick Chung, Senior Vice President and Deputy Agriculture Head of Bounty Plus, during the contract signing.

Vantage Energy affirmed its support for Bounty Plus’ critical operations by delivering a power supply designed for scale, reliability, and resilience.

“This collaboration not only strengthens our growth trajectory but also deepens our commitment to sustainable operations—supporting both Bounty Plus and the communities it serves,” said Vantage Energy President Ernesto M. Cabral.
