Their next challenge is a do-or-die battle against two-time champion Creamline Cool Smashers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday afternoon.
The winner of this highly anticipated clash will claim the final spot in the semifinals.
Van Sickle expressed excitement about the team’s increasing cohesion as the games progress, noting that she is proud of everyone stepping up and playing gritty defense.
She believes the team is moving in the right direction and credits the current gelling of the team.
Looking ahead to the looming match with the Cool Smashers, the Angels are well aware of the test ahead.
Van Sickle stated that Creamline is a tough team and Petro Gazz needs to watch film, make adjustments, and be on their A-game to match the Cool Smashers’ effort. Petro Gazz is determined to reach the Reinforced Conference semifinals for the first time since their last import-backed title run in 2022.
