Valeen Montenegro and Riel Manuel have celebrated the arrival of their first baby. The couple shared on Instagram that Valeen gave birth on November 11 after 28 hours of labor.
Riel expressed his admiration for Valeen, saying, “She’s my hero,” and adding, “Watching her go through labor showed me what real strength looks like. Thank you for enduring every challenge, every ache, and every worry just to bring our little one into this world.”
Celebrities including Carla Abellana, Maxine Medina, and Chariz Solomon congratulated the couple in the comment section.
Valeen and Riel got engaged in 2022 and married in January 2024. They announced their pregnancy in June, following a gender reveal party in July, though the baby’s gender has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Earlier this year, Valeen completed her first full marathon, showcasing her fitness and determination before embracing motherhood.
