US President Donald Trump said the United States is nearing the end of its military goals in Iran, citing progress under Operation Epic Fury.

In a televised address, the President said core strategic targets are close to being achieved following weeks of sustained military operations.

He said US forces have carried out intense and decisive actions over the past month, bringing the campaign closer to its intended outcome.

Trump said operations will continue in the coming weeks, with further strikes planned as part of efforts to fully accomplish mission objectives.

He also paid tribute to US service members killed in the conflict, saying their deaths underscore the need to see the mission through.

Tensions in the region have escalated since late February after joint US and Israeli strikes on Iran, prompting retaliatory attacks involving missiles and drones.

The President said discussions with Iran are ongoing, but warned of additional actions, including possible strikes on key infrastructure, if no agreement is reached.

He added that while certain targets have not been struck, the US retains the capability to escalate, and called on other countries to safeguard vital oil shipping routes as the conflict continues.
