In partnership with the Community Crafts Association of the Philippines (CCAP), the initiative aimed to provide skills development and livelihood opportunities for women in Barangay Barangka.
The event featured a hands-on handicraft workshop where participants learned to create marketable products using both traditional and modern crafting techniques. UM team members also conducted a live selling session, equipping participants with strategies to sell their products online.
“We wanted to give women not just a skill, but a platform for economic independence,” said Tricia Camarillo-Quiambao, CEO of IPG Mediabrands Philippines.
Through UM Impact Day 2025, UM Philippines showcased how agencies can create meaningful impact and engage communities at the grassroots level.
The UM Impact Day is celebrated annually.
