A 35-year-old construction worker was recently arrested as the Top 1 Most Wanted Person in the Manila Police District and the Top 4 Most Wanted at the regional level, facing murder charges, in Tondo, Manila.
According to P/Lt. Ferdinand Omli, chief of Intelligence Operations and the Warrant Section of the Delpan Police Station, the crime occurred on April 16, 2024, at Barangay 123.
The 60-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital with various injuries but did not survive.
The victim’s family filed a case but the suspect failed to attend the hearings.
The police later received a tip that the construction worker was in Tondo, where he was arrested on February 3.
The suspect insisted that the victim and his wife had committed adultery and that his wife had been unfaithful in their marriage.
Pero di po talaga ako masamang tao,” he said.
After the incident, the couple separated, and their children, aged 8 and 11, were left in the care of relatives.
Omli warns that the use of illegal drugs destroys lives and families.
