Tech billionaire Elon Musk’s Tesla sold 9,945 units of vehicle in January 2025, ACEA’s report showed, while this figure was at 18,161 units in January 2024 in Europe, including the E.U., the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), and the U.K.
The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) reported on Tuesday that the sales of U.S.-based electric vehicle giant Tesla in Europe fell by 45.2% in January compared to the same period last year.
Only in the E.U., Tesla’s sales fell by 50.3% to 7,517 units in January 2025, versus the same month last year.
Meanwhile, sales of battery electric vehicles surged by 34% to 124,341 units in the E.U., and by 37.3% across the E.U., EFTA, and the U.K. combined. (Anadolu)
