President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos went out for dinner on Saturday evening, April 11, as speculation about the President’s health continued online.
Both the President and First Lady shared photos of their dinner at Finestra Restaurant inside Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque.
In a social media post, Marcos said he spent time with his wife during a quiet dinner and briefly met a mother and daughter during the visit, describing it as a reminder of public service.
The First Lady also posted about the evening, saying it was a chance to slow down and enjoy a private moment away from noise and daily demands.
Malacañang officials have repeatedly denied claims circulating on social media regarding the President’s health condition, saying he remains fit.
Marcos himself has earlier assured the public that he is in good health and dismissed online speculation as inaccurate.
Presidential Communications officials said the spread of false information about the President was part of coordinated disinformation efforts intended to create instability.
The Malacañang Press Corps also rejected claims linking its members to alleged efforts to conceal information, urging the public to be cautious and verify sources of information online.
