Return of the champs!
Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) takes the Immortal Cup of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15 Grand Finals in a neck-and-neck 4-3 win in a best-of-seven series against the reigning MPL-PH champions ONIC Philippines as they conclude the season on the first day of June.
Second seed TLPH went on a comeback run from the lower bracket after being swept by the third seed ONIC Philippines in the upper bracket 3-0 in the Playoffs last Friday, pushing them into the lower bracket against Team Falcons which was then eliminated by TLPH 4-2 the following day to clinch their spot in the Finals.
Led by coach Arsy (Rodel Cruz), the team’s main five—Jungler KarlTzy (Karl Gabriel Nepomuceno), Gold Laner Oheb (Kiel Calvin Soriano), Middle Laner Sanji (Alston Pabico), EXP Laner Sanford (Sanford Vinuya), and Roamer Jaypee (Jaypee Dela Cruz)—awards TLPH their second MPL-PH title since Season 13 win in 2024 as then Team Liquid ECHO.
Sanji credited his Finals MVP Award to his teammates and their fans who believed in him.
“Thank you, guys! ‘Di ko makukuha ‘to kung ‘di dahil sa suporta niyo…sa mga teammates ko rin na sobrang lalakas din talaga, tinulungan nila akong makuha ‘to,” he said.

He also received the Infinix “My Greatest Teammate” Award, which was determined through the votes of the team’s players. On the other hand, KarlTzy, Oheb, and Jaypee each earn their fourth championship in their MPL-PH careers.
The Cavalry (TLPH’s monicker) took the first blood in Game 1, but the SONICS (ONIC’s monicker) immediately bounced back to take the 2-1 series lead by Game 3. TLPH retook the momentum, winning two games in a row to set themselves at 3-2 match point. ONIC prevents the potential early championship for TLPH to force a decisive Game 7.
“The Golden Rivalry” went all-in for the final game of the series but TLPH showed that they are hungrier for this championship. KarlTzy, playing the Hayabusa, masterfully secured all three Lord objectives, eliminated the key enemy targets, and immediately sealed the game with a 3/1/8 kill, death, and assist (KDA) ratio. His “Babycakes” duo Oheb also contributed with a 9/1/3 KDA on his Granger and a steady 0/1/10 Gloo performance by Sanford to close out the series.
Both of these top Philippine teams are now eyeing the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) hosted by the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next month.
MPL-PH S15 was held live at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City, and was also broadcast on the official MLBB and MLBB Esports channels, available in both Filipino and English livestreams.
