Takeda Healthcare Philippines Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, has once again earned national recognition for its exceptional workplace culture. For the third consecutive year, the company has secured a spot on the prestigious list of the Philippines’ Best Workplaces™ for 2025.
This distinction, awarded by Great Place To Work®, is based on extensive analytics and confidential feedback from employees across the country. To even be considered, companies must first be Great Place To Work Certified™ and score at least 65% on the Trust Index© Survey—a globally respected benchmark for workplace excellence.
Takeda didn’t just meet the criteria—it far surpassed them. An outstanding 97% of its employees said it’s a great place to work, compared to the national average of 65%. This milestone highlights Takeda’s enduring commitment to cultivating a workplace where people feel heard, supported, and inspired.
“In Takeda, every recognition we receive is really a celebration of our people—the driving force behind everything we do,” said Loreann Villanueva, Country Manager of Takeda Philippines. “This honor is a reflection of the trust we’ve built, the purpose we share, and the culture we nurture every day. We strive to create a space where everyone can bring their best selves to work.”
This year’s survey gathered responses from nearly half a million employees representing around 750,000 voices nationwide. The theme for 2025, “Change Happens Here,” celebrates companies that are creating workplaces where employees can thrive amidst a rapidly evolving business environment.
“Takeda’s inclusion is a reflection of the real experiences of their people. Their continued focus on meaningful employee engagement and culture-building shows how organizations can create impact from within,” said Antoniette Talosig, Managing Partner of Great Place To Work® Philippines.
Looking ahead, Takeda Philippines is focused on further empowering its workforce through professional development, inclusive engagement, and a culture of collaboration and innovation.
“We remain committed to providing a workplace where people feel motivated and fulfilled,” Villanueva added. “This recognition only strengthens our resolve to grow with our employees while delivering patient-centered outcomes for the communities we serve.”
