Suns’ Jalen Green Out 4–6 Weeks with Hamstring

Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks after sustaining a right hamstring strain, the team announced Tuesday.

Green, acquired in the offseason in the trade that sent Kevin Durant to Houston, re-aggravated the injury during Saturday’s 114-103 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 23-year-old missed the first eight games of the season due to the same hamstring injury, which originally occurred in training camp. He played just two games for the Suns before being sidelined again, including his debut last Thursday against the Clippers, where he scored 29 points—the most by a Suns player in a franchise debut since Charles Barkley in 1992.

Green also started Saturday’s game against Los Angeles, contributing two points in seven minutes. Phoenix is on a three-game winning streak, moving back above .500 heading into Wednesday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
