Marilao, Bulacan – Abante Posible Ambassador Coco Martin brought excitement and inspiration to Marileños and Bulakeños as he joined the nationwide Tamaraw roadshow organized by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) and Toyota Marilao, Bulacan, Inc. (TMR). Marilao marked his third provincial stop after Cagayan De Oro and Tacloban, where Filipinos gladly shared their own Abante Posible journeys with the reimagined Toyota Tamaraw.

Keeping the energy high, Coco entertained the crowd with a performance before sharing how the Tamaraw Utility Van became a dependable partner in his own livelihood. As a proud owner, he recounted how the vehicle serves multiple roles—from hauling groceries for his business to transporting his staff comfortably and safely.

“Ang una-unang binili ko sa Toyota ay yung Utility Van dahil kailangan namin sa negosyo. Pag naggrocery kami, dito lahat namin nilalagay. At kapag kailangan ng sakay ng mga tao namin, komportable sila kasi aircon at maluwag,” Coco said.

He was also pleasantly surprised by how modern and refined the Tamaraw has become. A long-time driver, Coco noted how exceptionally light the clutch felt and how powerful the engine was, highlighting the improvements Toyota made to the vehicle’s engineering.

“First time ko makaapak ng clutch na ganun kalambot. Sabi ko, bakit napakalambot ng clutch at ang lakas ng power? Nagulat talaga ako sa performance ng Toyota Tamaraw,” he added.

Stories of Abante, Posible!

Domingo Delizo with his Toyota Tamaraw Utility Van
Among those who met Coco was Domingo Delizo of Pandi, Bulacan, who shared how the Next Generation Tamaraw transformed his business. Since purchasing his unit, Domingo said his income has tripled. Reliability was the key factor for him, giving his family peace of mind in day-to-day operations. Proud of his Tamaraw, Domingo often recommends it to others and directs them to Toyota Marilao for their own purchase.

Estrella Maruyama with TMR Marketing Professionals
Another customer, Estrella Maruyama, said their family chose the Tamaraw for its proven durability and quality. When their unit arrived, she immediately noticed the spacious interior and smooth ride. She was so satisfied that she urged her daughter Catherine to purchase one as well.

“Dahil sobrang nagustuhan ko yung Tamaraw, ni-recommend ko agad sa anak ko. Ngayon, dalawa na ang Tamaraw sa pamilya namin. Hindi lang ako satisfied, pati anak ko satisfied din. Hindi lang ito sasakyan—katuwang siya sa negosyo at sa buhay,” she said.

Toyota Tamaraw: The Filipino’s choice
With record-breaking sales and strong preference among MSME owners, more Filipinos continue to choose the Toyota Tamaraw as a trusted mobility partner. Since its relaunch last year, the Tamaraw has shaped countless livelihood stories, and Marilao is no exception.

TMR President Cosco Oben emphasized how quickly the Tamaraw has become the top choice for Marileños and Bulakeños. “They see it as a practical solution for both business and family needs—reliable for daily operations and dependable for bringing loved ones where they need to be, with confidence and style. I’m truly grateful to our team and customers for the trust they’ve given the Next Gen Tamaraw,” he said.

Local Toyota dealers such as TMR have strengthened ties with MSMEs, guiding entrepreneurs in choosing the right Tamaraw configuration and supporting business growth within the community.

Coco spent the rest of the afternoon meeting fans, taking photos, and celebrating their inspiring success stories. The Tamaraw, with its reliability, customizability, and fuel efficiency, continues to prove its worth as a true partner for progress, helping Filipinos move forward and achieve Abante, Posible.
