QUEZON CITY – Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Victor Alfonso Limlingan is looking to expand the agency’s lending programs and enhance its pension booster products to provide greater financial support to members.
During a press briefing at the SSS office in Quezon City on Friday, October 23, Limlingan outlined plans to improve the agency’s financial services, particularly loan programs and retirement savings options.
Limlingan said the proposed expansion of lending programs is among the initiatives being considered to strengthen financial assistance available to qualified SSS members.
He also identified improvements to the SSS pension booster products as a priority, with the aim of providing members with additional opportunities to build their retirement savings.
The pension booster programs are designed to supplement the regular SSS pension system by allowing members to accumulate additional retirement funds.
The planned enhancements form part of Limlingan’s priorities for improving the agency’s services and financial products.
Further details on the proposed lending expansion, pension booster improvements, and implementation timelines have yet to be announced.
