Sophos Endpoint now integrated with Taegis MDR and XDR, driving greater security ROI

Sophos, a global leader in innovative cybersecurity solutions, announced that Sophos Endpoint is now natively integrated and automatically included in all Taegis™ Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Taegis Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscriptions. This milestone delivers customers unified prevention, detection, and response in a single platform—while lowering costs and streamlining operations.

The integration, which follows Sophos’ acquisition of Secureworks in February 2025, marks a major step in combining the companies’ strengths to enhance cyber resilience and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Unified security for stronger defense
Endpoint protection remains a critical defense layer against modern cyberthreats, serving both as frontline prevention and as a vital source of telemetry for detection and response. With Sophos Endpoint now included in all Taegis subscriptions, customers gain industry-leading ransomware defenses and adversary mitigation capabilities that can automatically activate during an attack.

This move allows organizations to:

  • Strengthen security posture while reducing licensing costs
  • Cut management overhead through native integration
  • Accelerate threat response with expanded, automated actions

Taegis also remains an open platform, ensuring customers continue to benefit from existing security investments while retaining the flexibility to use their preferred endpoint solution.

Industry voices
“Integrating Sophos Endpoint with Taegis delivers a best-in-class unified protection, detection, investigation, and response platform—while also reducing customer costs,” said Raja Patel, Chief Product Officer at Sophos. “Too many organizations still treat endpoint protection like a commodity, and that’s the mistake attackers count on. Sophos Endpoint’s prevention-first capabilities, such as CryptoGuard anti-ransomware and Adaptive Attack Protection, shut down attacks before they escalate. Combined with simplified deployment and policy management, this integration helps enterprises stay ahead of threats, reduce total cost of ownership, and maximize ROI.”

Chris Bell, Senior Vice President of Global Channel, Alliances, and Corporate Development at Sophos, added: “By including Sophos Endpoint in Taegis, we’re giving customers stronger protection, simplified operations, and reduced costs. For partners, this creates new opportunities to drive renewals, consolidate tools, and strengthen enterprise relationships.”
