Police arrested six individuals and confiscated nearly PHP 4 million worth of illegal vape products in Quezon Cityon March 12, the PNP-CIDG reported Monday.
Maj. Gen. Nicolas Torre III identified the suspects as “Seb,” “Mon,” “Genevieve,” “Rorem,” “Kenneth,” and “Pahrysz,” who were selling and distributing vape products without permits in Barangays Bagbag and Roxas District.
They face charges for violating:
- RA 11900 (Vape Regulation Act)
- RA 10643 (Graphic Health Warnings Law)
- RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act)
- RA 7394 (Consumer Act)
Torre emphasized the government’s commitment to public health and safety, urging the public to report illegal vape sales.
“We urge the public to report all illegal trade of vape products and other illegal activities in your localities and your CIDG will do the rest,” Torre said.
