More Filipinos are turning to insurance that is simple, accessible, and affordable, fueling strong growth for Singlife Philippines as the digital-first insurer closed 2025 with significant gains in both new business and customer adoption.

The company reported a 23 percent increase in total new business last year, alongside a 23 percent expansion in its customer base, reinforcing its momentum as one of the fastest-growing digital insurance providers in the country. The growth reflects a broader shift among Filipino consumers toward insurance solutions that are easier to understand, conveniently accessible through mobile platforms, and tailored to everyday financial needs.

A major driver of the company’s expansion was the rising adoption of its mobile platform. Policies purchased through the Singlife app surged nearly threefold compared with the previous year, signaling increasing consumer confidence in mobile-first financial services and digital insurance solutions.

“Filipinos want insurance that feels simple, affordable, and dependable. The growth we’ve seen this year reflects that,” said Lester Cruz, chief executive officer of Singlife Philippines. “Insurance is ultimately a trust business, and we’re proud that more customers are choosing Singlife as a brand they can rely on for protection that’s designed around real needs.”

To address evolving consumer needs, Singlife rolled out new in-app products designed specifically for Filipino households. Among them is Protect From Funeral Cost, which provides cash support to help families manage funeral expenses, and Singlife NextGen, a whole life insurance plan aimed at helping families build long-term protection across generations.

Strategic partnerships also played a key role in expanding Singlife’s reach. By integrating its services with major digital platforms such as GCash, Maya, and AUB’s HelloMoney, and by introducing a payment gateway through Xendit, the company widened access to insurance through channels already used by millions of Filipinos for everyday transactions.

The insurer’s momentum was further strengthened by recognition from regional and global award-giving bodies, underscoring its leadership in digital insurance innovation and customer experience. Over the past year, Singlife Philippines secured eleven awards across categories including mobile excellence, customer experience, and digital insurance management.

Among the highlights were honors at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards for Customer Experience Solution, Mobile App, and New Fintech Product in the Philippines. The company also received accolades from the Global Business & Finance Magazine Awards 2025, including Best InsurTech Philippines, Best Customer Experience Solution Philippines, and Best Digital Life Insurance Philippines.

Looking ahead to 2026, Singlife Philippines plans to accelerate its growth by expanding its geographic reach and introducing new products that support both everyday protection and long-term financial goals for Filipino consumers.

The company will also deepen its advocacy for healthier and more financially secure lifestyles through its sponsorship of the Philippine Marathon Majors, a nationwide race series that brings world-class marathon events to key cities while encouraging Filipinos to invest in both wellness and financial protection.

As it moves into the new year, Singlife Philippines remains focused on widening insurance access across the country, continuing its push to make protection simpler, more affordable, and more accessible for millions of Filipinos.
