Sean Quitevis won’t be walking into unfamiliar territory when he suits up for the Tropang 5G in PBA Season 50.
The former Ateneo floor general was TNT’s first pick in the third round of the 2025 PBA Draft presented by Pocari Sweat. While most rookies need time to adjust to their new squads, Quitevis already has a head start.
“I did a training camp with them last year in December. Honestly, the transition was pretty seamless,” said Quitevis. “I understood their defense. I’m not looking to boost my ego or anything—I’m here to serve my teammates.”
Aside from joining TNT’s training camp, Quitevis also observed several of the team’s practice sessions at the Blue Eagle Gym, his alma mater’s home court.
With his familiarity with the system and his steady playmaking, the poised guard is expected to give the Tropang 5G a much-needed boost in their backcourt, especially as they continue to await the return of veteran star Jayson Castro from injury.
