The Philippine Red Cross has launched Batch 5 of its Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC), bringing together young individuals seeking to develop their leadership skills and commitment to community service.

The training program aims to equip participants with the knowledge, values, and skills needed to become responsible volunteers and contribute to humanitarian initiatives.

Through the course, participants are encouraged to strengthen their understanding of volunteerism, teamwork, compassion, and the fundamental principles of the Red Cross.

The initiative also seeks to inspire young volunteers to take an active role in responding to community needs and promoting a culture of service.

Organizers expressed hope that the training would further develop the participants’ dedication to helping others and prepare them to become advocates of positive change in their respective communities.
