Three weather systems will bring rain across the country on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the shear line.
The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao will also cause scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Bukidnon.
The easterlies will, likewise, cause scattered rains and thunderstorms across the Visayas, Bicol Region, and Romblon.
PAGASA said moderate to heavy rains in these areas could result in flash floods or landslides.
The easterlies will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Northern Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility still has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone.
At 2:00 a.m., the LPA was located 430 kilometers northwest of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan. (PNA)
