Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte was recognized for her commitment to environmental protection after receiving the Gawad Kampeon ng Pagsulong ng Kalikasan award during the Gawad Rizaliano 2026 organized by Rizal Technological University (RTU) in Mandaluyong City.
