NPC medical mission serves 100 journalists, kin

MANILA – The National Press Club of the Philippines (NPC) provided free medical services to 100 journalists and their families as part of the organization’s 74th anniversary celebration.

In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH) and Life Savers, beneficiaries received free medical consultations, health screenings, medicines, laboratory services and pneumonia vaccinations.

NPC officials and employees, along with doctors and medical staff from the DOH and Life Savers Medical Services, supported the activity to ensure efficient service delivery to patients.

“This is part of our efforts to provide free medical services to our colleagues in the media and their families. We are deeply grateful to the DOH, Life Savers, and everyone who supported this initiative,” NPC President Mina Navarro said.

Life Savers President and CEO Julie Benedicto said they were pleased to take part in the medical mission, adding that the opportunity to help others was a blessing.
