The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday served no-bail warrants on two Chinese nationals linked to multiple kidnapping incidents, reinforcing its crackdown on syndicates.

The warrants, issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Nasugbu, Batangas, cover three counts of Kidnapping for Ransom and Serious Illegal Detention tied to a May 2, 2025, incident in Barangay Balaytigui, Nasugbu, affecting two Chinese nationals, one Korean, and one Filipino.

Authorities carried out the service at around 3 p.m. inside the Bacoor City Custodial Facility in Cavite, with Bacoor City Police Station Warrant Section personnel coordinating closely with the Anti-Kidnapping Group – Luzon Field Unit (AKG-LFU).

The court orders, spanning three separate criminal case numbers, recommended no bail for the accused. Police said the suspects were fully informed of the charges and apprised of their constitutional rights upon arrest.

They were also briefed on protections under Republic Act 9745, the Anti-Torture Act of 2009, in a language they understood, and the entire process was documented and video-recorded to ensure transparency.

PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. stressed that kidnapping is a serious crime that has no place in society and vowed that the police will pursue all suspects to the fullest extent of the law.

“Walang puwang sa ating lipunan ang ganitong uri ng karahasan. The PNP will pursue these cases to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of nationality or status,” PGen Nartatez Jr. said.
