
Police officers arrested a high-value drug suspect and confiscated approximately 30 kilograms of suspected shabu valued at PHP204 million during a joint buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City on Saturday.
The Philippine National Police identified the 40-year-old suspect, alias “Girlie” of Lubao, Pampanga, who was apprehended in BF International Village. Authorities confirmed that the seized narcotics and associated evidence will be submitted to the Southern Police District Forensic Group in Taguig City for laboratory analysis and processing as charges are prepared under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
In a related development, National Capital Region Police Office Officer-in-Charge Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano called on courier firms and delivery riders to exercise heightened vigilance against syndicates exploiting delivery services to move illicit contraband. The reminder followed an incident in Marikina City where two motorcycle delivery riders alerted police to suspicious packages, leading to the recovery of illegal drugs valued at least PHP150,000.
