The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced on Monday the reassignment of Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, former Directorate for Comptrollership chief, to the Area Police Command (APC) in Eastern Mindanao. This move, based on a September 6 order, was confirmed by PNP public information chief Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño.
Fajardo’s position was filled by Major General Westrimundo Obinque, director of the National Police Training Institute (NPTI). In turn, APC-Southern Luzon deputy commander Police Major General Christopher Birung replaced Obinque as NPTI head.
Additionally, Police Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete, APC-Southern Luzon executive officer, was reassigned within APC-Southern Luzon.
