PHLPost suspends mail and parcel services to the USA

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has announced the suspension of all mail and parcel services to the United States starting August 28, 2025, until further notice.

The move comes after the US suspended its duty-free de minimis exemption and introduced new customs requirements, prompting PHLPost to temporarily halt shipments to avoid customer inconvenience.

In a public advisory on September 2, PHLPost clarified that customers with items already lodged for shipment to the USA may request retrieval and refunds by submitting the necessary documents in accordance with existing guidelines.

The suspension covers all postal items bound for the USA that were accepted from August 22, 2025, onward.

PHLPost assured the public that updates will be provided once services resume and appealed for patience and cooperation amid the policy changes.
