The Philippine Coffee Expo 2025 is making a highly anticipated return from May 9 to 11 at One Ayala, Makati City. Organized by the Philippine Coffee Guild (PCG), Barista Coffee Academy Asia, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Agriculture (DA), the event aims to bring together industry leaders, farmers, and coffee enthusiasts to celebrate and promote the country’s thriving coffee sector.
With the theme “Charting New Frontiers,” the expo will showcase innovations and opportunities in the Philippine coffee industry. A key highlight of the event is the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC) Awards, which recognizes the best locally produced coffee, emphasizing the importance of quality and sustainability in local coffee farming.
The three-day trade fair will feature a diverse lineup of activities, including networking sessions with local and international coffee experts, interactive coffee exhibitions, and pop-up cafés where attendees can experience premium local brews. There will also be business-matching opportunities, workshops, and discussions focusing on improving coffee production, sustainability, and global market expansion.
According to PCG Chairman Dr. Emmanuel Garcia, the expo is a crucial platform for strengthening farmers’ connections within the industry and expanding the reach of Philippine coffee in international markets. “We want to create a stronger bridge between our farmers and key industry players, ensuring that our local coffee continues to thrive and gain recognition on a global scale,” he said.
