Pedro Taduran named boxer of the year at Pacquiao-Elorde awards

IBF Minimumweight Champion Pedro Taduran was honored as Boxer of the Year during the second edition of the Pacquiao-Elorde Awards held last night at Okada Manila in Parañaque City.

The prestigious event celebrated the achievements of Filipino boxers who brought pride to the country in the past year. Among those recognized was WBC Minimumweight Champion Melvin Jerusalem, for his success on the international stage.

A total of 70 awards were given to outstanding Filipino fighters, including Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, who both earned bronze medals in the Paris Olympics qualifiers.

The Pacquiao-Elorde Awards continue to honor the excellence, dedication, and global achievements of the country’s boxing talents.
