PDIC retains ISO Certification with Zero Nonconformities

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has successfully retained its ISO 9001:2015 certifications for its quality management systems on Claims Settlement Operations and Assessment of Member Banks, reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence and public service.

The second surveillance audit conducted by certifying body TUV SUD yielded outstanding results, with zero nonconformities and no recommendations for improvement — a testament to PDIC’s adherence to international quality standards and continuous improvement.

The audit also commended PDIC’s strong performance across key operational indicators. Customer satisfaction among various external client groups reached 92.49%, surpassing the 90% target. The agency likewise exceeded its learning and development goals, while 95% of legal service referrals were processed within the prescribed turnaround time.

PDIC’s quality management systems have been ISO-certified since 2010 for claims settlement and 2016 for member-bank assessment. This continued certification strengthens its mandate to protect depositors and uphold financial stability through efficient and transparent processes.

Through sustained dedication to good governance and performance excellence, PDIC continues to set a benchmark for quality and accountability in the public financial sector.
