PDIC launches enhanced website, e-portal to strengthen public service delivery

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) marked another milestone in its digital transformation journey with the official launch of its enhanced corporate website and its first electronic portal, MyPDIC, during its 63rd Anniversary Program held on July 1, 2026, at the PDIC Chino Building in Makati City.

Leading the ceremonial launch were Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for E-Government David L. Almirol, Jr., PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan, PDIC Board Director Imelda C. Tiongson, and PDIC Vice President Jose G. Villaret, Jr. of the Corporate Affairs Group.

The launch underscores PDIC’s commitment to delivering more efficient, accessible, and client-centered public services through digital innovation.

“These platforms will make our services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the public,” said PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan.

DICT Undersecretary David L. Almirol, Jr. also welcomed the initiative, emphasizing the government’s continued efforts to harness technology in improving public service delivery.

“The MyPDIC e-portal is a concrete example—a testament that modernization can actually happen. It’s not just about innovation; it’s about bringing government services closer to the people,” Undersecretary Almirol said.

The redesigned PDIC website features a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly interface that enables visitors to easily access information on deposit insurance, corporate publications, administrative issuances, public advisories, procurement opportunities, and other key services.

Integrated into the website is MyPDIC, a secure, one-stop digital platform that allows clients to conveniently access PDIC services online, reducing the need for in-person visits and making transactions faster, easier, and more efficient.

Seamlessly connected to PDIC’s existing systems, MyPDIC serves as a comprehensive digital gateway for banks, depositors and borrowers of closed banks, asset buyers, and job applicants.

Through the portal, bank representatives can receive notices and advisories, submit regulatory reports, monitor audit status, request certifications, PDIC decals and standees, and schedule briefings and orientations.

Depositors of closed banks can update their records, file and monitor deposit insurance claims, and receive real-time email notifications on the status of their applications.

Borrowers of closed banks can access loan account information, check outstanding balances, make loan payments, and request downloadable documents such as Statements of Account, Certificates of Full Payment, Cancellations of Mortgage, and application forms for the Closed Bank Loan Incentive Program (CLIP).

Asset buyers may browse available properties, participate in public electronic bidding activities, and upload bidding requirements online. Meanwhile, job applicants can search for career opportunities, submit application documents, and monitor the status of their applications through the portal.

Designed to be mobile-responsive, MyPDIC offers flexibility and scalability to support future enhancements and additional digital services as the Corporation continues to evolve alongside changing stakeholder needs and technological advancements.

The launch of the enhanced website and MyPDIC portal reinforces PDIC’s ongoing efforts to modernize its systems and processes, improve operational efficiency, and align with the National Government’s digital transformation agenda. More importantly, it represents a significant step toward building a future-ready, digitally empowered organization dedicated to delivering faster, more convenient, and more responsive public service.
