Law enforcement officials from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera (PDEA-CAR) Mt. Province Provincial Office, the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Sadanga Municipal Police Station, the Provincial Intelligence Unit/Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PIU/PDEU) of Mt. Province, and the Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) successfully eradicated a total of 45 fully grown marijuana plants valued at P9,000,000.00 during an operation conducted in Brgy. Saclit, Sadanga, Mt. Province on November 16, 2024.
The plants were found in a single location covering an estimated land area of 1,800 square meters.
All marijuana plants were incinerated on site.
However, no cultivators were apprehended.
