Operatives of PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team 1, PNP Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and General Trias Municipal Police Station arrested three suspects tagged as high-value drug personalities during a joint buy-bust operation at an open parking lot of a mall in Barangay Tejero, General Trias, Cavite on November 28, 2024.
Suspects were identified as Usman Unaid y Usmar alias Jamal, 54, Driver, resident of Sitio Tramo Silangan, Brgy. Halayhay, Tanza Cavite; Aguil Asaral y Jalilol, 50, jobless; and Camille Roda Ismael y Taib, 41, DOB: all were residents of Sitio Tramo Silangan, Barangay Halayhay, Tanza Cavite.
Confiscated during the operation were more or less 250 grams of suspected shabu worth Php1,700,000.00.
Cases for violation of the Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2024 will be filed against the suspects.
Meanwhile, in Subic, Zambales, a male drug peddler tagged as a high-value target and included in the PDEA regional target list was nabbed during a buy-bust operation at around 8:35 p.m. in Barangay Calapandayan, Subic town, on Thursday.
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspect as Bien F. Felarca, 51 years old, a resident of Barangay Calapandayan, Subic, Zambales.
According to the operating units, the suspect is involved in the distribution of drugs in Subic and nearby towns of Zambales.
More or less 10 grams worth Php 68,000.00 and the money used in the buy-bust was confiscated from Felarca.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA offices in Tarlac and Zambales, Subic Police Station, and 701st Special Operations Wing Air Combat Command (PAF).
A non-bailable offense of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against Felarca.
