On August 14, 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reaffirmed its mission of providing accessible healthcare and emergency support as it turned over a new set of medical devices and mobility aids to the local government of Bauan, Batangas.

The ceremonial handover took place at the PCSO Conservatory Building along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, led by PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Charity Sector, Atty. Lauro A. Patiag.

The donation package included 25 trauma bags, 20 oxygen tanks, 100 first aid kits, 25 wheelchairs, and 500 evacuation kits, among other essential life-saving equipment. These resources aim to strengthen Bauan’s healthcare response and disaster preparedness, ensuring that residents have immediate support in critical situations.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the municipality was Bauan General Services Office Head Marc Kevin Areta, who expressed gratitude for the agency’s assistance.

Through initiatives like this, PCSO continues to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility—delivering not just charity, but lasting support to communities across the country, especially those most vulnerable during emergencies.
