Mandaluyong City, Philippines. As part of its ongoing commitment to public safety
and community welfare, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over
a set of rescue equipment to Barangay Cabugao in Ragay, Camarines Sur.
The donated items were oxygen tanks with regulators, rescue helmets, ropes, life
jackets, handheld radios, search lights, trauma bags, and stretchers, which are critical
tools designed to support emergency response and disaster preparedness, especially at
the barangay level.
The turnover ceremony, led by Corporate Planning Department OIC-Manager Andrew
Limjoco, was held on July 1, 2025, at the PCSO Main Office along Shaw Boulevard.
The set of equipment was formally received by Barangay Secretary Christian Paul
Parra, representing Barangay Chairwoman Melinda Camacho, who expressed heartfelt
gratitude for the donation on behalf of their constituents.
This activity is part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which
aims to strengthen the capacity of local government units in responding to emergencies
and natural disasters. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive and
responsive public service through this effort.
