As part of its commitment to promoting gender-responsive initiatives, the Philippine
Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 100 hygiene kits to residents of
Barangay 541 in Sampaloc, Manila on July 2, 2025, under its Gender and Development
(GAD) program.

The ceremonial turnover was led by PCSO GAD Focal Point Chairperson Atty. Anna
Liza Inciong, while the kits were received by Barangay Chairman Ramoncito Lagao

According to Chairman Lagao, the donation is a timely and valuable assistance for their
community, particularly for women, senior citizens, and students.

“We are truly grateful to PCSO for providing these hygiene kits. These are very helpful
in promoting cleanliness and health among our constituents, especially women and
students who need this kind of support,” said Lagao.

The initiative reflects PCSO’s unwavering support for programs that uphold the
principles of Gender and Development, particularly those aimed at uplifting marginalized
and vulnerable sectors of society.

Through its continuing GAD initiatives, PCSO affirms its mission to extend care,
promote health, and empower communities, one meaningful act at a time.
