PBBM orders immediate implementation of priority government projects

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has directed the immediate implementation of his administration’s priority programs and projects, Malacañang announced on Friday.

In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President is committed to addressing the needs of Filipinos by fast-tracking key development initiatives.

She clarified that the President will not intervene in the potential impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The announcement followed a Cabinet meeting held Thursday, where key projects requiring urgent rollout were discussed. Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon first disclosed the agenda.

Castro also underscored Marcos’ call for national unity and collaboration, especially after the elections.

She added that the President hopes lawmakers will support his administration’s programs to ensure smooth budget approvals, but he remains open to suggestions from legislators.
